For a closer shave, consider reapplying shaving cream or gel and shaving against the grain (in the opposite direction of hair growth). Exercise caution, however, as this method may elevate the likelihood of skin irritation or ingrown hairs.

4. Soothe: After shaving, rinse your face with water and pat it dry. Follow up with an aftershave lotion or balm to help moisturize and calm the skin.

5. Storage: Once you’ve finished using the razor, shake off any excess water and store it in a clean, dry location.
